Smallville - The Complete Fourth Season

Season 4 is also the season that introduced us to Lois Lane (played by Erica Durance) and Jason Teague (Jensen Ackles). While Lois's premiere four-episode arc was wonderful, by season's end you'll wish she'd go home already. The "I hate you" routine stops being cute at a certain point. However, the first two episodes of Season Four especially have Erica Durance's Lois at her best; and from these performances, you can see why she was signed on for more episodes. In fact, I had forgotten how good she was in the early episodes until I re-watched them now... I don't know if the character has just gotten a little overbearing for me or if there was something different in the Lois writing early on, but now, I really wish the show would focus more on the two females who are already on the show - Chloe, and yes, even Lana.

Episode 1. Crusade
First aired: 9/22/2004
Clark returns to Smallville as Kal-El - intent on fulfilling his destiny, he goes after a powerful Kryptonian crystal that Lex has obtained in Egypt. Meanwhile, newcomer Lois Lane arrives in Smallville to look into the death of her cousin Chloe, and Lana returns from Paris with a new boyfriend. Jonathan lies in a coma after the events of last year's season finale and Lionel must deal with his new life in prison.

Bart comes to the farm and becomes friends with Clark, but Bart returns to crime when he sees an ancient manuscript that Lex has. As Clark soon realizes, the manuscript holds a map to one of the kryptonian crystals and he must go up against Bart to recover it.

Clark is drawn to the state penitentiary by one of the kryptonian crystals, which Lionel is using to switch bodies with Lex. Clark intervenes and Lionel enters his body instead. While Lionel uses his newfound super-powers to regain his lost fortune and alienate Clark's friends, Clark must convince his parents that he is the "real" Clark and reverse the process, while avoiding murderous convicts.

While her body lies in a coma, Dawn finds her spirit allowed to possess the bodies of others, where she can continue her quest to become Prom Queen. As a result, Martha, her body possessed by Dawn, flirts with Clark and asks him to the Prom, Lana attempts to electrocute the ex-boyfriend who dumped Dawn, Lois goes all-out to ensure she and Clark go to Prom together, and Chloe attempts to set fire to the school on Prom night.

Episode 22. Commencement

After a nightmare, Clark goes to the cave to confront his father Jor-El. Jor-El warns that the crystals have fallen into human hands and have triggered a new meteor shower which will annihilate the Earth unless he reunites the three crystals. Meanwhile, Lex helps Lana, who has apparently committed murder, but then turns against her to get possession of her Kryptonian stone. As disaster looms, Chloe and Lois try to find Lana while Clark attempts to reassemble the stones, and Jason returns to make things unpleasant for the Kents.

Grey's Anatomy. Season 4. Episode 11 - Crash Into Me - Part 2

The four core doctors that we’ve been following since the pilot, Meredith, Christina, Izzy and George, are not the wide-eyed kids they were three years ago.
Watching Meredith operate on the paramedic, and then give that speech to the other guy’s wife…well, speech-giving Meredith is nothing new, but it just seemed more grown-up and less whiny than in episodes past. And finally seeing her step up and give Derek the ultimatum was refreshing.
Christina has really taken to the role of Resident, and, I believe, is the most convincing doctor of the bunch. As she consoled Lexy after she lost the Seth Green character (fantastic guest spot, by the way), it’s easy to see elements of the great doctor she is destined to become.
Now, I don’t know how everyone else felt, but I’ve become kind of fond of the George and Izzy storyline. I believe that, particularly in this installment, they had some of the most significant character development of anyone on the show, in that they had to make some of the most mature decisions that a person will ever have to make. First, Izzy is facing the serious doubt of whether she is really and truly cut out to be a doctor…which is really going to be held over for later episodes, it seems.
However, the BIG thing was their decision to end their romantic relationship. I know this will please many, but, as I’ve said before, I’ve grown quite fond of them together. Still, I think it’s the right move now. “Timing, not chemistry,” indeed.
So, as I said earlier, on the whole, I’d say the season is leaps and bounds over last year. It didn’t fall into the trap of taking itself too seriously, as the show has done in the past, which became my biggest complaint. It still remains one of the most compelling shows on television, and one of most anticipated viewings of the week.

Grey's Anatomy - The Complete First Season (2005)

Meet Meredith Grey. She's a woman trying to lead a real life while doing a job that makes having a real life impossible. Meredith is on the job at Seattle Grace as a first year intern with at least 20 others. Each year the interns are split into groups are assigned to residents which often results in them getting to have a support system or just a possible chance to get to know the competition. Meredith has been assigned to senior resident Miranda Bailey, infamously known as "The Nazi" for her work ethic and her attitude. Bailey gets things done and she doesn't take any bull. In Meredith's group are 4 other first-year interns: Cristina Yang, Isobel "Izzie" Stevens, George O'Malley and Alex Karev. Yesterday they were students but today they are doctors at Seattle Grace Hospital. They are participating in the toughest surgical residency program west of Harvard. But their new jobs aren't the only things they have to keep them busy. There are always their personal lives. That is, If they get a chance to have them...Meredith is a one of the surgeon in the top of her class. She's somewhat considered royalty because her mother, Ellis Grey, was a noted pioneering surgeon known for making breakthroughs in the specialty as a talented surgeon and as a woman who broke barriers. Besides having a habit of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time he can't seem to move out of the "just friends" zone. Kavev is a jerk but he's honest about his cutthroat attitude. He's arrogant and somtimes he's idiotic.

The five interns struggle to find people that they can connect to and often find that they only people they have time to meet, date, or hang out with all work at the hospital.

So I guess it's no wonder that the person Meredith meets in the Emerald City Bar across the street turns out to be her bosses' boss. Derek Shepherd is an attending at Seattle Grace and he just moved here from New York City. Her likes ferry boats and, like almost everyone in the hospital, has secrets to share. Derek is a flirtatious neurosurgeon who Meredith insists she can't date because of hospital politics. Preston Burke is arrogant but with a good amount of reason. He's one of the best cardio-thorasic surgeons in the country with one of the lowest patient mortality rates. The only problem with his arrogance is that it may make him less suited for the job of chief of surgery in comparision to Derek.

The job of chief of surgery currently belongs to Dr. Richard Webber, Seattle Grace's paternal, but no-nonsense leader.

Meet new members of Seattle Grace and get and update on the classics.

George and Olivia had sex, he got syph, and they broke up after he found out that she dated Alex. Alex and Izzie were getting closer but Alex slept with Olivia. Izzie became interested in Denny and started to use, then, ignore Alex. Burke and Cristina are dating and their relationship is in turmoil due to problems of communication and the secrets they keep from each other and others. Derek was married. He left New York City because his wife, Addison Montgomery-Shepherd, cheated on him with his best friend, Mark Sloan, and he caught them in the throws. Addison came to Seattle to confront Derek and win him back. Derek choose Addison over Meredith. Meredith slept around to get over him with sometimes disastorius consequences but it didn't work. She was still in love with Derek. Mark came to visit Seattle and to bring Addison back to NYC. Addison said no and Derek was all pissed off because Mark was hitting on Meredith and Addison was all hurt because Derek didn't love her enough to get pissed off when things happened between Addison and Mark. Bailey had a baby. George and Meredith had sex and George moved out for awhile. He ended up living with Callie Torres, a resident who lived in the basement. Meredith then met McVet, Finn Dandridge. Finn had plans. Izzie fell in love with a patient, Denny Duquette and risked her medical career to get him a new heart. He got the new heart and proposed and she accepted and then he died on prom night. Derek and Meredith slept together on prom night even though Derek came with Addison and Meredith came with Finn. Izzie was heartborken over the death of Denny and she still is. She quit her job. She received a check for a lot of money from Denny's family. Later she came back to work at the hospital but she still misses Denny all the time. Meredith had a choice to make. Between Derek and Finn. Derek told her to take all the time she needed becuase when he had a choice to make he choose wrong. She decided to date them both and they both agreed to the arragement. Mark made a permanent move to Seattle. Derek bowed out of dating Meredith because upon consulting with the Chief about the affair that the Chief had with Ellis, Derek decided that Finn was the better guy. About 15 minutes later Meredith dumped Finn because her heart belonged to Derek. Derek found out that Addison lived with Mark for 3 months after Derek left and that it wasn't just a one-night stand. Derek was then pissy and could not accept Meredith wanting to back with him just yet. Callie and George broke up because George was more committed to Meredith and Izzie and Callie was in love with him and needed to feel like a priority. When Addison refused to sleep with Mark, Mark and Callie ended up sleeping together and you decided to just buy the DVDs and watch the episodes...
