Moonlight. Season 1. Episode 11: Love Lasts Forever

Episode 11 "Love Lasts Forever"

After Mick discovers a secret his best friend, Josef (Jason Dohring), has kept from him for over 40 years, which is also the real reason why Mick and Beth can never work, another mysterious revelation unfolds.

“Love Lasts Forever” sees the combined efforts of Mick, Beth, her boyfriend Josh (Jordan Belfi), and one of her contacts, Carl (Brian J. White). Described as an action-filled story with lots of guns and a lot of Spanish speaking people, this installment divulges a massive mystery in which Beth discovers an unwanted blood connection.

The suspenseful episode features Josh working on the biggest case of his career, a conviction against a member of the MS-13 gang, possibly the most dangerous bunch of criminals in the world. Although the mob threatens Beth, Josh refuses to fold and doesn't drop the case. Instead, he seeks Mick's help in protecting Beth. On the other hand, Josh is left defenseless and is kidnapped with shocking results.

Meanwhile, Mick and Beth visit Dr. Mimi Lin in an effort to analyze a vial of blood. It is said to be a rare blood type, AO negative, since only one person for every 1 million people has it. Ironically, Beth is that one in a million.

Prison Break. Season 3. Episodes 10: Dirt Nap

Episode 310 “Dirt Nap ”
Airdate: 1/21/2008

Molly Lief tells Michael that her husband and daughter were killed, and she found things in her husband's office that didn't make sense. She saw the video of Michael and Lincoln on the news, talking about the Company, and asks Michael to help. Michael tells her she should run away from the Company, not towards it, and walks away as she continues to beg him for help.

Sammy again tries to convince Lechero to kill Michael. Lechero says that Michael's a folk hero in Sona now that he's survived the box – kill him, and it'll spark an uprising. Surprisingly, Sammy seems to agree.

Mahone, now through the worst of his withdrawal, receives a picture of his son, Cameron, in the mail. Meanwhile, McGrady asks Michael if he was really trying to escape. Michael denies it, and then goes to join Whistler, Mahone, T-Bag and Lechero. T-Bag declares himself part of the escape attempt. Michael, Whistler and Mahone are in the escape tunnel. Lechero sends T-Bag to get the supplies they'll need to build bracing. When he's alone, Sammy enters, ready to kill Lechero, though he is ultimately convinced him to spare him for friendship's sake. But Sammy's claiming the room; Lechero cannot come back. Sammy then goes to the terrace overlooking the yard and declares himself in charge, and promises a case of rum to whoever brings him Michael. T-Bag says the only option now is to get Sammy killed in a fight to the death. And his gaze falls on Bellick, who is bragging about his win at yesterday's fight. T-Bag tells Bellick to kill Sammy the same way he killed the other guy, with acetone on his wraps – if he does, he's in on the escape attempt. Meanwhile, Michael, Whistler and Mahone attempt to build bracing from the materials at hand. Whistler admits he was ordered to kill Michael, and says the Company threatened to come after his family.

Sofia makes Lincoln promise he won't double-cross Whistler. Meanwhile, Sucre meets with Susan, who is sending an Email to an "Edward Guthrie," claiming to be "Gary Miller" – it's in code, referring to sales going through the roof. Sucre tells Susan Linc isn't plotting anything. She says she believes him, and gives him a cashier's check for $25,000.

Bellick publicly challenges Sammy to a fight – and then is horrified to find that the can of acetone has been spilled. It's all gone.

As Michael and Mahone work, Whistler admits he's more connected than he'd let on. Yes, he was a fisherman and ran charters, but one day, Susan hired him to be exclusive to her company. He's being used. Mahone doesn't care; bottom line – Whistler works for the Company. Whistler lets Michael see his book, trying to win back some measure of trust. It includes the words "Gate" and "Stampede," which Whistler claims just refer to a netting company and the name of his buddy's boat.

Linc buys a bomb on the black market and tells Sofia that it's backup; hopefully he won't have to use it. He wraps the bomb in a brown paper bag, gives it to Sucre, and tells him to call Susan and tell her he has info and she should pick him up – he needs to get in her car.

Whistler and Mahone decide they need to go out and get supplies; Michael reluctantly joins them. They wait until they hear the coast is clear, propping the door open as they go. The Bellick/Sammy fight is beginning. Bellick gets in the first punch, but Sammy quickly gains the upper hand. Meanwhile, Sammy's thugs, including Cristobal and Cyrus, see Michael, Whistler and Mahone emerge from Lechero's room and give chase. They run back to the tunnel, but Whistler gets caught outside. Sammy is about to kill Bellick when Cyrus calls that they've found Michael. Sammy runs to Lechero's room and demands that Whistler give him the combination to the door. Whistler insists he doesn't know it. Sammy calls through the door that he'll kill Whistler if they don't open the door. Michael is held back by Mahone, but Michael says he needs Whistler.

Sucre meets with Susan in her car. Susan says she knows the fight he had with Linc the other day was staged. And the check she gave him had a tracking number, so she now knows Maricruz' name and address. And she'll decapitate her if Sucre doesn't bring her some real information. She throws him out of her car, but he did manage to plant the bomb under her seat.

Sammy accuses Lechero of hiding Michael, and marches him towards his old room. Meanwhile, Mahone has improvised a weapon from a piece of rebar. Sammy demands the combination from Lechero, but Michael says he's about to open the door, to Mahone's horror. Sammy pushes Lechero and Whistler in and forces Michael and Mahone, at gunpoint, to drop their weapons. In desperation, Michael offers to bring Sammy in on the escape plan. Sammy begins to ascend the tunnel – and the makeshift construction collapses in an avalanche of sand, burying and killing Sammy within seconds. As Sammy's men reel in shock, Mahone and Lechero make short work of them. Michael stands stock still, stunned by all the carnage around him. Lechero tosses the corpses of Sammy's men into the yard, followed by Sammy's body. Point made. Lechero is back in charge. Bellick tells T-Bag he's in, or he'll tell everyone about the escape attempt.

Linc gives Sofia a small paper bag before driving away; it contains an Eiffel Tower keychain.

Whistler accuses a brooding Michael of building the tunnel badly – they could have all been killed – but we see that Michael actually removed a linchpin just before Sammy entered the tunnel. For the first time, Michael has directly caused somebody's death.

McGrady tries to buy his way into Michael's escape plan with all the money he's saved while in Sona - $173. Michael hates to turn him away, but tells McGrady he wouldn't want any part of this. Michael meets Linc at visitation, and Linc tells him about the "Gary Miller" passport. The date of birth matches a Gary Miller in Scottsdale, Arizona. Michael reacts, remembering that Molly was from Scottsdale.
Molly, in a motel with stacks of cash and a gun, examines a note written by her late husband, Jonathan: "1:15 meet re: GM." It's on letterhead for Stampede Tire.

Prison Break. Season 3. Episodes 9: Boxed In

Episode 309 “Boxed In”
Airdate: 1/14/2008

In Scottsdale, Arizona, a woman named Molly Lief hurriedly searches through her papers until she finds a photo of a handsome man and a 4-year-old girl. She puts it in her bag. Meanwhile, at Sona, General Zavala, who has replaced Colonel Escamilla, interrogates Michael, who says he has no idea who sent the helicopters. Michael is placed in solitary confinement, a tiny cage mostly wrapped in plastic in the middle of No Man's Land, giving him until morning to confess to planning the escape. Lechero, watching from inside the prison, realizes Michael is doomed. As Zavala tells Michael that keeping secrets will eat him alive, we see Molly burn her papers; there's a photo of Michael on the pile. She leaves her home.

Sofia confides to Lincoln that she doesn't trust Whistler any more. There seems to be some attraction between Sofia and Linc. Suddenly, Susan arrives and kidnaps Linc, telling Sofia to go home. Susan takes Linc to LJ, giving them one minute together in order to keep Linc motivated. Linc whispers to LJ that the next time he sees him, LJ shouldn't take his eyes off him, and he'll tell him what to do.

A sorrowful Lang returns Mahone to Sona. She gives him a silver half-dollar – a good luck piece that used to belong to her father. Inside, Whistler promises Mahone he'll be included in an escape plan with Lechero. Meanwhile, Bellick antagonizes Octavio, one of Sammy's new recruits, who later challenges Bellick to a fight to the death.

At a bus stop near Sona, Sucre is surprised to find Augusto, who has another delivery for him to smuggle inside Sona. He's offering no money – but pulls a gun on Sucre when he refuses. As Sucre arrives at work, Zavala is ordering a guard to take Michael a tiny cup of water. The guard doesn't want to do it, so Sucre volunteers. Michael, somewhat incoherent and on the verge of heat stroke, tells Sucre to quit. Sucre refuses; he's loyal.

Lechero – who distrusts Whistler because of his other escape attempt – try to dig up through the secret tunnel, but they need Michael's engineering expertise so it won't collapse. T-Bag sees them sneak out of Lechero's room, past Sammy and his goons.

Michael finally confesses to Zavala that he's been planning an escape since he arrived; he's taken back to Zavala's office for questioning. Michael tells all, though he's not naming names. Zavala isn't sure he believes him, but Michael begs for LJ's sake.

T-Bag tells Whistler he's noticed that he and Lechero have been working together, and suggests it's time to kill Sammy. Meanwhile, Cristobal tries to convince Sammy it's time to kill Lechero. Later, T-Bag tells Mahone to challenge Sammy to a fight and kill him – in return, T-Bag will make sure Mahone gets his drugs. But Mahone ultimately refuses, choosing to go through the withdrawal, which T-Bag says will kill him.

Molly is now in a motel in Panama. She has 20 grand in cash and a new handgun. She reads the gun's instruction manual.

Sucre tells Linc he can't quit his job at Sona – he has to provide money for his kid to Maricruz – unless Linc can help him out. Linc is annoyed; Sucre knows he doesn't have any money to spare. Sucre implies he won't help Linc any more; Linc walks out on him. An operative from the Company overhears the conversation.

Zavala reads in the papers about Mahone's testimony about the Company conspiracy, and begins to believe Michael. Whistler can confirm Michael's story, but will he? Zavala pressures him to give up Whistler's name, promising he'll protect LJ if Michael does so. Meanwhile, Sofia visits Whistler and confronts him about the apartment. Whistler says those fake IDs are so he can get away, with her. He tells her there's a man she can go see – he has a fake passport for her as well, in the name of Estelle Linarte. She visits the man, who gives her an envelope.

Zavala interrogates Whistler; he just needs to know the name of who is in charge of the attempts to free Whistler. When Whistler won't talk, Zavala threatens to torture him. Whistler confesses, but says nobody else is involved. Michael tells Whistler to tell the whole truth. Whistler finally gives up the name Gretchen Morgan – Susan's real name. Meanwhile, Susan meets with Sucre and offers him a job, using his anger at Linc as leverage. 50 grand to go apologize to Linc and stick with him a few more days, and wait for instructions. Sucre meets with Linc – and says his plan worked. Their fight was faked in order to draw Gretchen in to offer Sucre money to spy on Linc.

Michael calls Linc to find out when and where he's next meeting Gretchen, and tells Linc to tell her that all is going as planned.

As Linc meets with Gretchen, Zavala enters to arrest her. Linc is stunned and swears to Gretchen that he had nothing to do with this. At Sona, Gretchen denies all knowledge. Zavala begins to torture her. She knows how to stand up to torture – which just shows Zavala she's not as innocent as she claims. Finally, Gretchen says she's not in charge; her job is just “babysitting” LJ. Just before she is hauled away, Michael whispers that he's going to get her for killing Sara.

Bellick, preparing for his fight with Octavio, sneaks into a room full of paint and turpentine. Just before the fight, he wraps torn pieces of shirt around his knuckles, and shoves tiny wads up paper up his nose. Octavio wails on him, but somehow Bellick emerges victorious. The crowd of prisoners goes wild, cheering for him. T-Bag realizes that Bellick dosed the knuckle wraps with turpentine.

Sammy and Augusto meet at visitation. Augusto tells Sammy it's time for him to take over from Lechero, and to open the latest package he's had Sucre smuggle in.

Gretchen leads Zavala to a false hideout; LJ's not there. She then gets the drop on Zavala, kills him, and then calls Linc. Meanwhile, Zavala's replacement, General Mestas, arrives at Sona and throws Michael and Whistler back into the prison – much to Lechero's relief, a relief that Sammy notices. Suddenly, it's announced that Michael has a visitor at the gates. It's Molly. He has no idea who she is.
